These terms cover how memberships and billing work, what you agree to when you list a crew or search for one, and where our responsibility begins and ends. The short version is that Crew Master introduces contractors and crews. What happens after the introduction is between the two of you.
Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions are a binding agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], which operates Crew Master Roofing Directory. By creating an account, buying a membership or using this website, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What Crew Master is, and what it is not
Crew Master is a directory. We give roofing contractors, subcontractors, crew leaders and crew members a place to list who they are, what systems they run and where they work, so they can find each other.
Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, partnership or joint venture relationship between Crew Master and any member, or between members.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you register on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company to these terms.
Accounts and profiles
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything in your profile and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree to:
- Give true and current information about your role, crew size, systems and service areas
- Update your profile when that information changes
- Not create a profile for a crew or company you are not authorized to represent
- Not share, sell or transfer your account to anyone else
- Notify us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission
A profile that is incomplete may not appear in directory search results.
Credentials and verification
Members state their own systems, crew size, experience and credentials, and may upload supporting documents such as licenses or certificates of insurance. We may review what is submitted, but we do not independently audit, guarantee or continuously monitor any member's licensing, insurance, immigration status, workmanship, safety record or legal compliance.
Memberships, billing and renewal
Memberships are offered at these rates:
- Contractor: $120 per month or $1,200 per year
- Subcontractor: $100 per month or $1,000 per year
- Crew leader: $50 per month or $500 per year
- Crew member: $25 per month or $250 per year
Annual memberships are billed for ten months instead of twelve, which is the two months free offer described on the pricing page.
Automatic renewal
Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or annually, at the rate then in effect, until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date. We will send a renewal reminder before an annual renewal charge where the law requires it.
Price changes
We may change membership prices. If we do, we will give active members at least 30 days notice by email before the new price applies to their next renewal.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend access to the directory until the balance is settled.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing [BILLING EMAIL]. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and your profile is removed from the directory at that point.

Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, harvest, copy or export the directory, member profiles or contact information by any automated means
- Use member contact information for spam, unrelated solicitation or resale
- Post false, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene or unlawful content
- Impersonate another person, crew or company
- Interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities or attempt to bypass access controls
- Use the directory to recruit for anything other than legitimate roofing work
- Violate any labor, immigration, licensing, tax, safety or wage law in connection with work arranged through the directory
Content you post
You keep ownership of the content you submit, including your profile text, photos and documents. By submitting it, you grant Crew Master a non exclusive, worldwide, royalty free license to host, display, reproduce and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the directory.
You represent that you have the rights to everything you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
We may remove content that violates these terms, without notice.
Our intellectual property
The Crew Master name, logo, crew board, site design, copy, code and databases are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Your membership gives you a limited, revocable, non transferable right to use the site for its intended purpose. It does not give you any ownership in it.
Third party services
We use third party providers for payments, email, hosting and analytics. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third party providers or of any site we link to.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these terms, if your payment fails, if we suspect fraud or misrepresentation, or if we are required to do so by law. We may also discontinue the service entirely, in which case we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid membership.
Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and dispute resolution survive termination.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non infringement and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the directory will be uninterrupted or error free, that any listing is accurate or current, that any crew is available, qualified, licensed or insured, or that using the directory will result in work, labor or revenue.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crew Master and its owners, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, lost data or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the service, even if we were advised such damages were possible.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in membership fees during the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Crew Master and its owners, officers, employees and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the service, your content, your breach of these terms, any work you perform or arrange through the directory, or your violation of any law or third party right.
Dispute resolution and arbitration
Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at [LEGAL EMAIL] and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally.
If that fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by [ARBITRATION PROVIDER] under its rules, in [CITY, STATE], rather than in court. The arbitrator decides all issues except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court.

Governing law

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the new version with an updated date and, when the change is significant, notify active members by email. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our written consent. We may assign them freely. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Crew Master regarding the service.
