Crew Master Roofing Directory is a membership directory for the roofing trade. Running it means holding some information about you. This page explains exactly what we hold, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
Who we are
Crew Master Roofing Directory is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], located at [BUSINESS ADDRESS]. Throughout this policy we call ourselves Crew Master, we, or us, and we call you the member or you.
This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or hold a membership, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We use the information above to:

Your profile is visible to other members
This is the most important thing to understand about a directory. The information you put in your member profile is meant to be seen. Other paying members can view your name or business name, the roofing systems you run, your crew size, the markets you cover, your availability status and the contact details you choose to publish.
How long we keep your information
We keep account and profile information for as long as your membership is active, and for a reasonable period afterward so you can reactivate without starting over. We keep billing and transaction records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, generally [NUMBER] years.
When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your public profile from the directory promptly and delete or anonymize the rest, except where we are required to keep it.
How we protect your information
We use industry standard measures such as encrypted connections, access controls and limited staff access to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
- Request a copy of that information
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date
- Delete your information, subject to legal exceptions
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under their state statutes. California residents may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on their behalf.
To make a request, email [PRIVACY EMAIL]. We will verify your identity before acting and will respond within the timeframe the law allows, generally 45 days.
Sale and sharing of personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising and analytics cookies may qualify as sharing for cross context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out at any time by emailing [PRIVACY EMAIL] or by enabling the Global Privacy Control in your browser.
Children
Crew Master is a business service intended for adults working in the roofing trade. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third party sites and members
The directory may link to member websites, financing partners or other third party sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.
When another member contacts you through the directory, any information you then give that member directly is governed by their practices, not ours.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant, we will notify active members by email before it takes effect.
